When I started work as a personal assistant over two decades ago, I knew straight away it was the right role for me. Rolling my sleeves up and getting stuck in comes naturally, as does giving support to people – however minor or major the task they face – to make their daily work life easier to manage.
I founded 'Pay As You Go PA' in 2009. While recently, ill-health caused two years away from work, I was pleased to return to my happy place in 2020 and relaunched the business. With over 21 years of personal experience delivering remote secretarial and office support, along with my team of highly-skilled, professional individuals, we help customers of all shapes and sizes to recognize the benefits of our virtual service. That's more time and reduced costs. Simple!
Lauren started working for Pay As You Go PA back in October 2021 and immediately fell in love with the role.
She has almost 3 years’ experience working in admin-based roles. Since joining Pay As You Go PA, her workload has been extremely varied and has allowed her the opportunity to gain more experience than she ever imagined. Her regular tasks include audio typing, typing blogs for websites, booking clinical psychology appointments, managing projects for a speech and language therapist, chasing payments and more!
Working as a Virtual Assistant has given her so much variety to her working day. It allows her to complete a variety of tasks for different organisations, and to get to know an abundance of amazing people. She loves being organised, so being a VA is the perfect role for her!
